This has been a a really cool event in years past, and I am sure that this year will be no exception. I would highly recommend it for all surfski paddlers. There is a huge surfski demo day on Friday (try out the boats from all of the major Surfski makers), and of course, the races on Saturday and Sunday.

If anyone from Texas is on the fence about going this year, Continental has a pretty good deal now--nonstop round trip flights from IAH to SFO for $336+tax.

Looks like I will be there again this year!

Is there a trailer going there from Texas transporting skis?

No. As far as I know, I am the only one from Texas planning to attend (same as last year and the year before). It isn't too difficult to rent a boat there, but I haven't heard any official boat rental information yet for this year.
