The 2009 TCRA Awards Banquet will be held in Dickinson, Texas on Saturday, November 7th.
The Dickinson Bayou Brawl Canoe race will be on that day at Paul Hopkins Park and the banquet will be held after the race from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Dickinson Community Center.
A meal will be served and after the meal the 2009 winners of the TCRA Points Program will be recognized and will receive awards.
The Dickinson Community Center is located at 2714 Highway 3, Dickinson 77539. This facility does not allow alcoholic beverages. No alcohol will be served and none can be brought into the center.

Unfortunately due to work I can not make it to the awards banquet, I have to work both Saturday and Sunday. I would like my dad to come to the awards banquet for me. He is a canoe racer from the late sixties and early seventies and I know he would love the chance to do this. Any problems with this?

Ooops never mind, I found out I am not a category 1 paddler. Oh well maybe next year.
